WHAT IS ALTRESS?
Altress is changing the way women shop and fixing the way clothing is designed and produced. Through our customization offerings, we give you control over the design process, so each piece is designed by you and made just for you. Offering thousands of customizable styles and silhouettes, in nine on-trend colors, Altress allows you to design clothing that fits your body type and aesthetic, so you can look and feel your best.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simply shop from our Suggested Styles page for our most popular dresses or choose the Design Your Dress experience.
To design your own dress, select Design Your Dress and get started browsing by Occasion, Styles, or by using the Dress Builder. You do you. Check the boxes that appeal to your desired style and fit. Use the arrows to sort through options for both tops and bottoms. Once you’ve decided upon your dress style, select colors for the top and the bottom of your dress, and choose your size using our handy-dandy Size Guide. Once the dress is finalized a la your design, add it to your cart and checkout whenever you are ready. Once we process your order, we will start making your customized dress, just for you, to arrive to your door in just 10-12 business days.
HOW DO I MAKE A EXCHANGE OR RETURN?
We want you to feel confident, empowered and beautiful wearing your Altress dress. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we want to work with you to find a solution. Altress allows up to 1 exchange per item, within 7 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, with all labels attached. Your initial shipping cost will not be refunded.
Please note that we are a made-to-order experience. Production on your new, exchanged dress will only commence once we have received your returned dress, approved its condition and processed your return request. Please factor in another 10-12 business days from the date of your new order to receive your exchanged dress!
Altress will allow first-time customers to return their first purchase, within 7 days of receiving your order. If you are unhappy with your dress, simply reach out to us, and if we cannot find a solution that suits you, we will issue a full refund (excluding the initial cost of shipping). To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, with all labels attached.
TO EXCHANGE / RETURN AN ITEM
Please enter your Order Number (found in your confirmation e-mail) and the e-mail address that placed the order. We will review your request within 2-3 business days, and if approved, you will receive a follow up e-mail with a USPS Return Label attached. Please print this label and attach it over the original label on the box you received your Altress dress in (reuse + recycle!), and drop off at any USPS post office!* You will receive an e-mail update once we receive the package, as well as once we approve the return request.
For Returns, please note that it can take up to 5 business days for the refund to appear on your bank or credit card statement, and for the funds to be transferred.
For Exchanges, please contact Customercare@altress.com to initiate your exchanged dress order. We will be happy to assist you and provide suggestions for your new Altress dress.
*Altress is not responsible for missing, damaged, or lost packages in transit.

WHAT ARE ALTRESS DRESSES MADE OF?
All of our styles are made with high-quality bi-stretch crepe, which is 89% Polyester / 11% spandex. Our dresses are lined in 100% polyester, mechanical stretch lining. What does all of this mean for you? Altress dresses give you a superior fit with maximum comfort.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY DRESS?
Our dresses are dry clean only and can be steamed or ironed on a low setting. Please avoid excessive steaming or hard pressing!
HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?
10-12 business days. We begin production of your dress the day your order is processed. You will receive an e-mail with tracking information as soon as your order ships. You can also contact us CustomerCare@altress.com and we’ll be happy to help.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
We currently ship within the US. Order requests outside of the US are handled on a case by case basis – contact us CustomerCare@altress.com for more info.
WHAT IF I’M NOT HAPPY WITH MY DRESS?
At Altress, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your experience and your dress. If your order does not meet your quality expectations, let us know and we will make it right. Contact our stylist team for help at CustomerCare@altress.com.
WHAT IF MY DRESS DOESN’T FIT?
Altress is a true customizable made-to-order experience. Your dress is made just for you based on your personal style and fit preferences. We encourage our customers to look carefully at our sizing chart and take measurements in order to select the right size. Should your dress not fit correctly, simply contact our stylist team for help at CustomerCare@altress.com and we will work with you to find a solution. We want to ensure all of our customers are 100% happy!

DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS FOR BRIDESMAID ORDERS?
Yes! If you order 4 or more dresses in the same color, we offer $25 off each dress! Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org before placing your bridal party order and one of our stylists will assist you.
CAN I CHANGE / CANCEL MY ORDER?
Yes – if you reach out to us within 6 hours of your purchase, you may make changes to your order or cancel your order. If you would like to change your order or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at CustomerCare@altress.com with your order number and your requested changes, if making changes.
WHAT IS STORE CREDIT AND HOW DO I USE MY STORE CREDIT?
Store credit is a dollar amount that is available for you to use towards a future purchase through www.altress.com. It is typically generated from returning a style if, and only if, the garment meets the quality return requirements in our Exchanges / Returns Policy.
When you are ready to redeem your store credit, please contact us at CustomerCare@altress.com with your new order! Store credit cannot be transferred to another person or account and cannot be purchased as a gift card.
SHIPPING & RETURNS:
Altress offers a fixed cost of $10 for shipping. Return and exchange shipping is free given the garment meets the quality requirements in our Exchanges / Returns policy.

Our skilled manufacturing partners are all based in the US and dedicated to producing the highest-quality garments, and creating dresses made just for you.
WHAT IS YOUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT?
Altress was created with a vision for minimizing unnecessary waste in the apparel industry, which is one of the most resource-intensive industries. We eliminate overproduction with our made-to-order model. This way, we produce only what our customers want and avoid excess inventory, which often turns into waste.
Exchanges / Returns that we cannot sell may be donated to Dress for Success or other organizations to help women in need. We do not burn our excess clothing!
